Open the necklace all the way up so that it can fit over the head. Put the slide bar on the back of the neck and reach up and pull down on the ends. The pendant will come up. Stop when the pendant rests at the most pleasing spot. Drop the ends down through the loop. If you are in a situation where the necklace is sliding, you can just reach up and turn the bar over a few times to put some twists into the chain.
